The Lade Inn is a wonderful pub at Callander in the beautiful surroundings of the Trossachs. The pub maintains a tradition of great atmosphere, fine food, and the best real ales. There was once a microbrewery in a building adjacent to the pub that was set up by Bridge of Allan Brewery and Stirling Brewery founder, Douglas Ross. The microbrewery ceased production in 2004 but The Lade Inn house ales are still brewed by Traditional Scottish Ales in Stirling.

Attached to the pub is The Scottish Real Ale Shop offering one of the finest selections of beers from all over Scotland. Products can be purchased onsite as well as through the online shop. The pub and shop are a family affair. Father and mother team Frank and Rita Park handle the pub book-keeping and shop sales, respectively, while son Stephen is the head chef and his wife, Laura, the pub's restaurant manager.

If you're in the area of Callander, you owe it to yourself to check out The Lade Inn, get some great food, imbibe some fine ales, and take home some other Scottish beers from the shop.
